Where to find spin classes in London after Digme has closed

The news is in, Digme has shut for good. After mourning their Oxford Circus location almost two years ago, their Moorgate and Richmond studios have joined the ranks of Boomcycle Holborn and 1Rebel’s Southbank spin studios, most likely to become Reformer Pilates locations in the next year.

We’re sad about it, and I’m sure you are too.

With spin decreasing in popularity, it ironically is one of the best cross-training methods for running, whose popularity is surging at the moment. As I train for the London Marathon 2026, I’m desperate to find a replacement spin studio and whilst I visit and rate them all, I thought I’d give you the low-down of where you can still spin in London. So, in no particular order:

Revolt INDOOR CYCLING (Holborn)

The new kid on the block, Revolt boasts sustainability as the energy from the bikes partially powers the studio. Unlike most studios they offer metrics rides on top of the classic Rhythm. They also offer pilates and yoga, and are offering intro and founder offers currently. Find them here.

Boomcycle SPIN STUDIO (Battersea and Hammersmith)

A classic in London, these studios are iconic and very similar to the SoulCycle dark candle-lit vibe. We really like these classes, although we have noticed that many of the better instructors have deferred to Psycle in recent years. The Rhythm bikes do not provide metrics, although we haven’t yet tried one of their metrics-style rides. Website here.

1Rebel RIDE STUDIOS (St John’s Wood, Leadenhall Market, Victoria)

Victoria is huge, probably the biggest spin studio in London and whilst it’s fun, when it’s not busy it does feel a little empty. There are two floors worth of bikes in this room, smoke machines and an LCD screen. The instructor even sits on a podium. Again, a lot of the best 1Rebel trainers have deferred to Psycle in recent years, but we do like these classes. The bikes do not provide metrics and are classic ‘spin’. FInd out more on their website.

SoulCycle LONDON (Notting Hill and Soho)

Very similar vibe to Boomcycle, but perhaps a bit more cult-like. The instructors here are fantastic and when instructors move and they don’t end up at Psycle, they end up here. We really like Fiona who previously taught at Digme. Only rhythm and again no stats on the bikes. Find out more on the SoulCycle website.

Psycle INDOOR CYCLING (Many, including Bank, Clapham and Oxford Circus)

We really like Psycle, the rooms tend to have brighter, more club-like energy and the instructors seem to get more training than they do in other locations. They usually use mixing software for their playlists which other studios rarely do. I would say that these classes are probably harder than at most other locations, with tough jogs always included. However, it will push you and is really fun. They are, however, the most expensive studio on this list. If you sign up through this link and buy Psycle’s intro offer, you will get an extra free class!

Cadence INDOOR CYCLING (Crouch End)

Cadence is well known for training new spin instructors as the owner is very well known in the spin-scene. We haven’t yet visited their studio but we have heard great things about it and they even do Karaoke classes where singing is encouraged. More info on their website.

3Tribes SPIN STUDIO (Crouch End)

3Tribes also comes with high recommendations although we have only been to their Borough branch which does not offer spin. They have a great intro offer of unlimited classes for £40. Info online here.
