Psycle to Open New Studio at Former Digme Bank Location
Psycle continues its strong momentum in London's boutique fitness scene with the announcement of a brand-new studio opening at 40 Coleman Street, Bank - the former home of Digme Fitness. In a market where many boutique studios are struggling, Psycle appears to be thriving, bolstered by some of the highest membership prices in the industry and a loyal community.
The Coleman Street site will be familiar to former Digme members. Located down a small flight of steps, the space previously housed three dedicated rooms for spin, barre/yoga, and strength training. Psycle has confirmed that the new studio will offer Spin, Barre/Yoga, and Reformer Pilates, suggesting that the old strength studio will now be used for Reformer classes. They have also announced infrared workouts - likely using the same technology previously installed by Digme.
As someone who spent time at the original Digme Bank, I can say the space has real potential. It’s fantastic to see it come back to life after sitting vacant for nearly a year, a pattern seen elsewhere in London as rising rents have forced out beloved studios (Boom Cycle Holborn and Digme Covent Garden are two notable examples).
While the reduction in diversity within the boutique fitness landscape is bittersweet, Psycle’s expansion is a promising sign. Their Spin, Barre, and Reformer classes are consistently among the best in London, and this new site should only strengthen their offering.
Psycle is currently offering an opening special of three classes plus a guest pass for £45. I will definitely be visiting - and if you're a fan of high-energy, expertly delivered group fitness, this is one opening not to miss.
