Digme Spin Review 2025, Referral Links & Free Classes

If you’re looking for the best Digme spin classes, how to get a Digme discount, a Digme referral link, or even a Digme free class, this guide has everything. I’ve been going to Digme for years, so I’ve pulled together my honest review and the current best offers below.

My history with Digme

Digme was my real introduction to group fitness and my first ever boutique gym subscription and so even years later, I still have a huge soft spot for them. Whilst the studio that I was an avid member of shut down (RIP Covent Garden), they still have a studio space in both Moorgate and Richmond, so I have been going once a week for the last couple of months.

I honestly believe that Digme does the best spin classes in London. I have tried many studios, and whilst I have enjoyed most of them, Digme has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that I find beats the others. They have a lot of regulars, a wide spread of age and gender, and they’re fantastic for spin newbies.

Digme used to offer Barre, Yoga and Strength, and I think it’s a huge shame that they lost these elements. Their subscription used to be the best value in London if you liked doing multiple classes, but they remain good value even with just spin.

rhythm vs ride vs perform: what’s the difference?

Unlike a lot of other studios, they offer three forms of spin: (i) the classic ‘Rhythm’ classes which are what most people will think of, which incorporate push ups on the bike and everything in time to the beat (ii) ‘Ride’ which is very stats-based, not necessarily in time to the music, often heavier seated gears, and has what appears to be a big fanbase of cyclists (or they just love lycra!) and (iii) ‘Perform’ which takes into account your own FTP and pushes to you improve your fitness in a very directed way, but is most similar to Ride. I started out with predominantly Rhythm, which is definitely the most fun, but Ride has grown on me and I’ve found myself taking more of these classes ultimately.

Digme also seems to have very set rules about their classes. Whilst instructors are able to choose their own music, themes and sections of the class, there are always a mix of speed, climbs (heavy gears), and both stood up and sat down sections. I find that this variety is less assured in other studios but I think it’s really important for improving your fitness. All of Digme’s bikes also have statistics on them, which you can ignore if you want (and are sometimes encouraged to), but allow you to see progress very clearly. Again, this is rare in most boutique spin studios.

my favourite digme spin instructors

My favourite Ride instructors are Jack - who is clearly very passionate about his job, has a bunch of regulars and plays a lot of heavy EDM - and Frankie (also on the dance music side). Ciaran and Louise are my favourites in Rhythm, and Ciaran in particular I have seen host extremely fun events including St Patrick’s Day where he dressed up in green and at one point got off the bike to do a jig. All the instructors are encouraging in my experience.
